Poppy Seed Restaurant can be found in the Poppies Hotel in the beautiful Trossach's town of Callander, the gateway to the National Park and the Scottish Highlands.
Our chef has always enjoyed cooking and has never stopped expanding his range and developing his skills. He has always cooked great gastro pub food that brings comfort to everyone, as he focuses on the smallest details to get maximum flavours.
Over the years he has tried, created and served many new recipes to his customers, and he loves the challenge of a different style of cooking as he can show off his love for food in general and his great skill in preparing these dishes. You can see a selection of his delights in our food gallery.
In our cosy bar you can enjoy an extensive cellar of interesting wines from around the world, with some lovely house wines available by the glass too. We also offer local gins and a range of Scotch malt whiskies which is one of the finest in the area and features local and regional favourites such as Edradour and Glengoyne – to some of the great names from the Highlands, Islands and Lowlands too – including Macallan, Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Talisker, Lagavulin, Highland Park and Glenlivet.
